Hi! My name is Lisa. I unexpectedly lost my brother on the 22nd September 2023 and no one knew of any of his wishes or desires when it came to what he would have wanted after passing away. It’s a hard and sensitive topic to talk about and I am hoping that this planner will make it easier for any family experiencing a sudden loss of a loved one by knowing exactly what they wished to happen in this unforeseen event.

This planner has been prompted by the uncertainties I have experienced over the last couple of months since John’s passing. My brother, John, spent 30 years in the Queensland Fire and Rescue Services. He loved his job, but due to what he had seen over those 30 years, he ended up with severe Post Traumatic Stress Injury.

This planner is also a tribute to him and to acknowledge all the men and women in our emergency services suffering from mental health. If you or any of your loved ones are struggling, please reach out for help. You don’t have to do it on your own. It’s OK to not be OK.

Thank you for supporting my small business and the cause behind it, to spread awareness and to help people understand mental illness. I hope this planner will make it so much easier if you experience the sad and unexpected passing of a loved one. RIP brother – your duty is done – may you now be at peace.
